At the primary school where I taught, we had an annual activity in which one day was set aside for students across all grades to build towers. I often wished there was something to guide them on how to strengthen their towers. Over time, I began to realize that building a tower is a powerful metaphor for personality development. This led me to see how a picture book could be an ideal tool for nurturing the unconscious understanding of the importance of having a strong foundation in life. Such a foundation enables us to stand tall amidst the chaos the world often presents.
